We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Transport Planners to join our busy growing team in Manchester. We are well known for working on development projects in the UK and in Ireland across a range of sectors including residential, industrial, energy, healthcare, and education, in addition to masterplanning. The variety of our projects across various sectors ensure a varied mix of project work meaning no two days are the same.
You will play a key role in the delivery of our projects working with other members of the Transport Planning team, and our colleagues in our Civils, Geo-Environmental, and Structures teams. The work will involve advising on site access and transport strategies, accessibility and sustainability, policy, and informing site layouts and designs working alongside planning consultants, architects, and other collaborators.
You will also play a key part in the preparation of various planning related documents to support a successful planning application, including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and transport chapters of Environmental Statements.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who’s eager to get involved — someone who will actively engage with our wider office teams, contribute to a collaborative working culture, and represent us at industry events.
Above all the right fit will be guided by what is right when making decisions, who recognises the contribution of others and shares their successes. Someone who is kind, conscientious and has pride in their work and the legacy our profession leaves for everyone.
We value diversity and respect all differences in people.
