Job summary

Hariley Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator/Planner based in Telford to join our operations team. You will plan routes, monitor live deliveries and coordinate with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep schedules intact.

You will ensure compliance with WTD and driving hours, maintain accurate records in systems, and contribute to continuous improvements in planning processes while supporting the wider operations function.

Qualifications

• Previous transport planning experience preferred.
• Must have administration experience.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Packages.
• A team player with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily routes for drivers.
• Monitor live operations and resolve any issues or delays.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ensure legal and company compliance, including WTD and driver hours.
• Maintain accurate records and update systems in real time.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in planning processes.
• General Administration tasks.
• Support the wider operations team when required.
• Liase with drivers as and when required making outbound and taking inbound calls.
