Job summary

Travail Employment Group Ltd is seeking a Transport & Warehouse Planner to join a busy vehicle logistics operation in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. This hands-on role combines UK and European transport planning, warehouse coordination, and fleet maintenance scheduling to ensure vehicles move safely, efficiently, and on time.

You may have previously worked as a Transport Operations Planner or Fleet Coordinator, coordinating servicing and managing transportation to support operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning within the UK and Europe.
• Knowledge of transport compliance and logistics operations.
• Experience coordinating vehicle servicing or fleet maintenance.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule vehicle collections and deliveries across the UK and Europe.
• Build efficient routes and maximise vehicle utilisation.
• Allocate work to drivers and monitor live transport operations.
• Coordinate warehouse movements and maintain stock records.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift for loading and unloading activities.
• Schedule vehicle servicing, MOTs, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with transport, fleet, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain operational reports, KPIs, and logistics records.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles when required.
• A Full UK driving Licence is essential for yard shunting.

Wellingborough Northamptonshire Full Time Monday to Friday Basic Salary of 32,000 - 35,000(neg)

Are you an organised logistics professional with experience in transport planning, warehouse operations, and fleet coordination with a passion for cars, motorbikes or any motorised vehicles ? This could be a perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for a Transport & Warehouse Planner to join a busy and growing vehicle logistics operation. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining UK and European transport planning, warehouse coordination, and fleet maintenance scheduling to ensure vehicles move safely, efficiently, and on time.

You may have worked previously as a Transport Operations Planner, Logistics & Warehouse Planner, Transport & Fleet Coordinator, Transport Operations Coordinator Logistics Operations Planner assisting with booking and managing transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule vehicle collections and deliveries across the UK and Europe
• Build efficient routes and maximise vehicle utilisation
• Allocate work to drivers and monitor live transport operations
• Coordinate warehouse movements and maintain accurate stock records
• Operate a counterbalance forklift for loading and unloading activities
• Schedule vehicle servicing, MOTs, inspections, and repairs
• Ensure compliance with transport, fleet, and health & safety regulations
• Maintain operational reports, KPIs, and logistics records
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles when required
• A Full UK driving Licence is essential as there will be a requirement to Shunt vehicles in their yard
