Transport clerk/planner

GBP12.60 per hour

Full-time

7am-3:30pm (40 hours per week)

or

7am- 3pm (37.5 hours per week)

Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting an experienced Transport Planner to join our client, a well-established business within the Wednesbury area. The successful candidate will be willing to relocate to their new location in Litchfield around summer time.

Job specifications:

• Complete all the route planning
• Allocating vehicles and drivers effectively
• Create delivery manifests and plan stores deliveries
• Working closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams

The successful candidate:

• Needs to be very computer literate
• Have experience in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Have great communication and multitasking abilities
• Have planning experience (desirable)
• Be operationally minded and very organized
• Be calm under pressure with a proactive mindset
• Be willing to step in and assist with other office admin tasks in between planning duties when required.
