Transport Planner

We are looking for experienced Transport Planners to join our rapidly growing client based in Tamworth on a temporary to permanent basis. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both customers and drivers to ensure satisfaction at all times.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7.00am-7.00pm
Payrate: £12.02 per hour
Location: Tamworth

Responsibilities:
  1. Providing exceptional customer service to all customers and clients, responding appropriately and professionally to all requests.
  2. Allocating jobs to drivers and setting accurate time schedules to be followed.
  3. Accurate pricing and costing of jobs for both customers and drivers, ensuring company processes are followed.
  4. Working effectively as part of a team and assisting where necessary.
  5. Maintaining continuous contact with customers and drivers during the process of all deliveries.
Requirements:
  1. The ability to work well within a fast-paced environment, maintaining a strong customer focus at all times.
  2. Strong administration and organisational skills.
  3. Previous customer service experience is essential for this role.
  4. A strong work ethic with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
  5. Previous industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
