Job summary

JT Recruit is currently seeking a Transport Planner for a permanent role in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will coordinate transport requirements, work closely with subcontracted couriers, and use the CX system to keep deliveries on track.

The role also involves occasional warehouse assistance, so a flexible hands-on approach is essential. The ideal candidate will have transport planning or logistics experience and good attention to detail, with a can-do, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous transport planning or logistics experience preferred.
• FLT licence preferred, but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and an organised approach.
• Confident using computer systems, with experience of transport systems advantageous.
• Friendly, approachable and able to communicate effectively.
• A reliable team player who is willing to help where required.
• Flexible attitude and a willingness to support warehouse operations when necessary.

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

The main responsibility of the role will be to coordinate and plan transport requirements, working closely with subcontracted couriers using the CX system.

The successful candidate will also be required to occasionally assist within the warehouse when needed, so a flexible and hands-on approach is essential.
