Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our Commercial Waste Operations team at our Moreton Valence (Gloucester) hub. Your role will involve assessing and planning optimal routes for our Commercial Waste vehicles to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. You must be confident communicating with customers and drivers.

Full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a planning role.

Responsibilities:

• Plan efficient routes, resolve issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with drivers and review routes regularly.
• Inform drivers about inspection dates and monitor driver performance and hours.
• Support drivers with on-road issues and manage customer queries related to collections and scheduling.
• Keep accurate service records and update plans as needed.
• Coordinate with the administration team to resolve queries and manage service disruptions proactively.
