Taylor Stevenson is seeking a Transport Planner to join the busy operations team in Sheffield. The role focuses on coordinating daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on time and in line with customer and company expectations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in transport planning, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Transport Planner

Location: Sheffield

Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience)

Taylor Stevenson is working with a well-established client in Sheffield to recruit an organised and proactive Transport Planner to join their busy operations team.

This role involves coordinating daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently, on time, and in line with both customer and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and route vehicles efficiently to maximise productivity
• Monitor drivers and vehicle movements throughout the day
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff

• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures

Requirements

• Flexible approach to working hours when required

Working Hours

Monday to Friday with standard hours of 08:30 – 16:30, with flexibility available where required, including:

• 08:00 – 16:00
• 09:00 – 17:00

Holiday Entitlement

• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
