Transport Planner

Our client is looking for a Transport Planning Consultant to join their expanding Transport and Development Planning team in Reading.

The successful candidate will provide clients with transport planning and highway advice on a wide range of projects across various sectors throughout the UK.

As a Transport Planner, your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing, writing, reviewing, and delivering Transport Assessments/Transport Statements, Travel Plans, and other key documents.
2. Assisting with the technical delivery of development planning projects.
3. Supporting senior staff when advising clients.

Requirements for the role:

• A relevant degree.
• Knowledge of government transport policy and guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with Junctions 9/10, TRICS, and TEMPRO.
• Experience using AutoCAD and AutoTrack is desirable.
