Purpose of Position:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our small Supply Chain Team on a permeant, full-time basis. This role is vital in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders, both domestically and internationally. You’ll play a key part in coordinating logistics, managing documentation, and working closely with hauliers and third-party warehouses.


Key Responsibilities
  • Daily communication with various hauliers and 3PL warehouses accurately to ensure orders are picked and collected on time to meet the customer orders delivery dates.
  • To ensure clear and concise communication with Irca Customer Care function with reference to order status and transportation plans.
  • To ensure all UK, European and worldwide transportation is ordered in line with the business hauliers.
  • To create all despatch documentation for the warehouse in line with any customer or business requirements.
  • Support and manage export documentation process with the relevant departments.
  • Accurately manage and support with information required for daily / weekly / monthly updates for OTIF, customer complaints and customer returns.
  • Manage customer complaints for logistics and warehousing on Intelex (ZL’s) including investigations and customer responses.
  • To request haulier quotations to ensure we are receiving competitive prices.
  • Ensure haulier purchase orders are raised both accurately and in a timely manner and assist with any payment queries.
Technical Skills & Experience
  • 2 years minimum working experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in working with M3 in a manufacturing context is an advantage but full training will be give
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to integrate and work effectively with others in a changing environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and administrative skills.
