Mego Employment is recruiting a Transport Planner for a fuel distribution business based in Okehampton. You will coordinate daily fleet operations, manage stock movements, and support depot efficiency in a busy transport environment.

Ideal candidates will have transport planning experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel. The role offers Monday–Friday shifts and on-site parking in Okehampton.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within transport planning or logistics operations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily deliveries for a fleet of up to 10 drivers.
• Manage stock control and accurately record all stock movements in and out of the depot.
• Complete transport administration including tachograph reports, incident reports, driver defect sheets, and order confirmations.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, drivers, and the sales team to coordinate delivery requirements.
• Arrange vehicle servicing, inspections, repairs, and conduct daily driver debriefs.

Salary: 30,000 per annum

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a well-established fuel distribution business based in Okehampton.
