Job summary

FindCore is seeking a proactive Transport Planner in Beeston, Nottingham, to coordinate daily transport movements and workloads. You will liaise with drivers, customers and internal teams, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining accurate records and strong customer relationships.

The role requires experience in transport planning or logistics, good knowledge of transport legislation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within transport planning, traffic operations or transport coordination.
• Good understanding of transport legislation.
• Experience working within a busy transport or logistics environment.
• Strong telephone manner and customer service skills.
• Excellent organisation and ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Confident working independently and using initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills and experience using transport systems would be advantageous.
• Commercial awareness and previous sales experience would be beneficial.
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
