Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a Transport Analyst for a 6-month contract in Larne, Northern Ireland.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Transport Analyst?

Role:

As a Transport Analyst, you will support the Trade Lane Management Team to enhance transportation operational efficiencies and processes for Prime Products moving from EAME facilities to dealers or end customers internationally.

You will coordinate with order management and planning processes, planning and executing international shipments to minimize transit time, variability, in-transit inventory, and transportation costs.

You will be part of the Outbound Prime Product Logistics Team.

Responsibilities include supporting the Trade Lane Manager in planning and executing transportation operations from production centers in EAME to regional and overseas dealers, and initiating continuous improvement or transformational initiatives.

You will analyze transportation lanes using Velocity data, identify improvement areas, and manage carrier performance.

You will support operational performance metrics such as velocity, cost, and data quality, collaborating across teams to meet targets by leveraging systems, dashboards, and relationships to identify opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent experience (Master's preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in international transportation by ocean (container/RORO), road (truck), and air.
• Interest in understanding data flow between Transportation Management Systems and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Motivated to develop expertise in international transportation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook).
• Nice to have: PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Power BI, Power Automate, Salesforce, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and calculations.
