Our client, a leading Container Transport Company, is currently looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in London Gateway, UK.

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for routing company-owned vehicles across the UK.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00-18:00 (1-hour break)

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Routing company-owned vehicles
• Planning routes to be cost-effective
• Ensuring routes comply with WTD and Drivers Hours regulations
• Keeping all customers updated
• Completing necessary administrative tasks
• Collaborating with the Manager to ensure vehicle compliance with company standards
• Performing general administration, including costing, negotiating charge rates with contractors, and handling queries in line with company requirements
