Job Description

We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our team at KDM HIRE in Cookstown. You will be responsible for planning and routing vehicles for deliveries and collections across NI and ROI, supporting our commitment to delivering a service you can trust.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan deliveries and collections for local drivers.
  2. Create load lists for next-day deliveries.
  3. Monitor drivers' collection notes for accuracy.
  4. Ensure timely signing and receipt of delivery contracts.
  5. Communicate with other departments and customers regarding delivery and collection requirements.
  6. Process on-hire and off-hire transactions on our hire system.
  7. Perform general transport administrative duties.
Requirements
  • Previous planning experience preferred; strong administrative background considered.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent IT skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude with good telephone etiquette.
Additional Information
