Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is recruiting for an afternoon Transport Operator to cover an ongoing temporary role at Brackmills. The candidate will debrief drivers, assist with routing and planning, and work closely with the transport and warehouse teams.

The role requires good computer skills (Outlook/Excel), fluent English, and the ability to multitask and work under pressure. Flexible with overtime for holiday cover may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Transport Coordinator or similar role is preferred.
• Must be able to work on an afternoon shift (13:30–22:00) and cover on site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Debrief/brief drivers after shifts.
• Plan and route transport schedules efficiently.
• Coordinate with drivers, transport and warehouse teams.
• Be able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Maintain accurate records using Outlook and Excel.
• Communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).

I am recruiting for a Transport Operator to cover an afternoon shift in Brackmills.

Working hours 13:30-22:00 (8.5h shift - 30 mins unpaid break)

Ideally, I am looking for someone previous Transport Coordinator experience including the below:

• Debrief/Briefings Drivers

• Some knowledge of Tachograph legislation and working time directive.

• Team Player - (Working with and alongside Drivers, Transport Team, Warehouse Team)

• Routing/Planning

• Working on own initiative (Decision Making - some hours with no management on site)

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure

• PC Literate - Outlook Work Excel etc

• Fluent English Written & Verbal

• Flexible with OT if required for Holiday cover.

This is an ongoing temporary role so candidates must be available immediately on an ongoing basis.
