Job summary

Superdrug is looking for a Transport Administrator to support a fast-paced logistics operation and act as the first line contact for driving teams. You will help with scheduling, communications and ensuring vehicle compliance, repair coordination and breakdown support.

Ideal candidates will have 12 months of transport admin experience, familiarity with Telematics/Transport Management Systems, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 12 months previous administrator or operator experience within a transport environment (essential)
• Experience of Telematics and Transport Management Systems would be an advantage
• Flexible approach to performing other duties within the transport operation as requested by your Line Manager
• Attention to detail
• Confident and calm approach to deal with general transport challenges
• Excellent time and attendance record
• Good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work on your own
• Maintain health and safety awareness within Transport as per ASW/H&S values

Responsibilities

• Full briefing and debriefing of driving teams to ensure communication of vital information and feedback captured
• Preparing store bags and updating store instructions
• Communicating with required departments and support functions for smooth operation
• Ensure vehicles and trailers are road legal by following defect processes
• Provide first line contact for driving teams for delivery queries, breakdowns or incidents
• Engage maintenance and breakdown services to assist breakdowns and recoveries
• Provide first line contact with stores for schedule changes, delays and failures
• Support other transport functions, holiday and absence cover when required

Hours: 40| The hours will be 4 x 10hrs, on a 4 out of 7-day rota subject to requirements between 6am - 4pm or 10am - 8pm (inc weekends and bank holidays). This is a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2026
