Transport Operator - Temporary

Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire

Salary: Up to £12.94 per hour

Job Description

Pure Staff are recruiting for a Transport Operator for an immediate start in Daventry on a temp-perm basis. The role involves working shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Pay Rate

£12.94 per hour PAYE. Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins or Payroll Processing Fees.

Responsibilities

• Complete bookings
• Allocate drivers to the two-man crew network and general haulage operations
• Complete daily driver KPIs
• Maintain contact with drivers to ensure bookings are completed and drivers comply with legal requirements
• Communicate with clients/customers

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years previous transport experience in the above duties (essential)
• Strong understanding of transport processes and legal requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness
