Responsibilities

• Allocate drivers and vehicles to loads efficiently, considering holidays, sickness, drivers hours and WTD regulations.
• Plan driver start times to meet the site’s despatch KPI.
• Proactively communicate with third party hauliers to ensure collection times are met from site.
• Liaise with the shunting operation covering pre-loading and unloading activities.
• Maintain clear, effective communication with drivers, sharing accurate start times, load information and directions.
• Ensure orders are despatched and delivered in the right condition per customer specifications.
• Communicate with collection or delivery points to advise of delays.
