Job summary

ArrowXL is seeking a Transport First Line Manager for our Wigan depot to lead a 2-person home delivery operation. You will develop teams, drive engagement and ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing transport activities.

You will coach Service Delivery Crews and Team Leaders, optimise fleet use and manage resources while maintaining customer service levels and delivery performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience leading and managing teams in a transport operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Service Delivery Crews and Team Leaders to drive high performance.
• Maximise fleet utilisation through effective resource planning and cost control while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront.
• Own health & safety and transport regulation compliance across the operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance within Transport and implement solutions.
• Recruit, develop and manage performance of colleagues with CPC training and service standards.
• Make timely decisions to protect customer service and delivery performance with a strong commercial focus.
• Manage on-site resources, including vehicles and equipment, to meet changing customer demands.
