Job summary

Alloga, part of Cencora, is seeking a Transport Supervisor to lead a busy transport team in South Normanton. You will supervise Transport Clerks and a large driver workforce, ensure on-time deliveries, and drive performance while maintaining strict compliance with transport legislation and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics or distribution operations.
• Experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong people management, coaching and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good computer literacy and experience with operational systems.
• Stable employment history.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations and driver activities.
• Lead and support a team of Transport Clerks and a large driver workforce.
• Dispatch and debrief drivers, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
• Monitor delivery performance and respond to delays, route changes and vehicle breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Operator Licence requirements and transport legislation.
