Job summary

GHD is seeking a Transport Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Transport & Mobility team. Based in Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle with hybrid working and three days in the office, you will help develop practical, sustainable transport solutions across a range of UK projects.

You will contribute from feasibility through to detailed design and construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning.
• Working towards professional accreditation (ICE).
• Incorporated Engineer status or progress towards chartership is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare transport and infrastructure designs, drawings, calculations, reports and documentation.
• Support feasibility studies and early-stage design development.
• Analyse transport and traffic data to inform solutions.
• Contribute to highway and infrastructure design including Section 278/38 designs.
