Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily haulage operations, ensuring compliance with legal, industry, and health & safety standards.
2. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including drivers and transport office staff.
3. Maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring service delivery and communication.
4. Manage P&L, resource planning, and financial objectives.
5. Lead, mentor, and develop team members at all levels.
6. Ensure adherence to DVSA guidelines, O-License conditions, tachograph rules, and working time directives.
