Job summary

GB Recruitment (England, Scotland, Wales) is seeking an experienced Transport Manager for a permanent, full-time role in Nottingham. You will establish and lead a new transport operation, shaping processes and building a high-performing team to deliver safe, compliant and efficient transport services from day one.

Your responsibilities include leading the transport team, reviewing KPIs, promoting best practices, and ensuring driver and fleet compliance with legal and DHL standards.

• Strong communication skills.
• Familiar with KPI review and fleet utilisation considerations.

Responsibilities

• Be a 21st Century Manager leading and managing a Transport Team.
• Manage and review Transport KPIs, to identify KPLs, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours and POA and support improvements.
• Foster an environment that promotes sharing of ideas and best practice to benefit the network.
• Promote a positive transport/network culture, supporting EOS initiatives.
• Be accountable for driver and fleet compliance in line with legal and DHL standards.

Grade: K Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday - Friday, Day shift Location: Nottingham Subject to a successful new business win, we are seeking an experienced and driven Transport Manager to play a key role in establishing and leading a new transport operation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape processes, build a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional service standards from the outset, ensuring a safe, compliant and efficient transport function that supports both customer expectations and business growth. We're looking for someone to;
