University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 2 Non-Patient Driver/Porter to support the transport of staff, patients and equipment across hospital sites. Candidates must hold a PCV/LGV licence, up-to-date DCPC, and driving capability in a NHS environment.

The role involves vehicle safety checks, log maintenance, and assisting with the safe movement of beds, trolleys and wheelchair items while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Formación

• Must hold UK driving licence (PCV / LGV) up to a maximum of 6 penalty points due to Commercial Vehicle Insurance
• Holder of the Drivers certificate of professional Competence (DCPC)
• NVQ level 2 or relevant experience in road transport operations. Basic level of education in literacy and numeracy
• Dangerous goods awareness. Basic Life Support (BLS)
