Job summary

AECOM seeks a Consultant Development Planner to join our Transport Development Planning team to deliver a range of development planning projects, including large mixed-use sites and energy/defence projects with DCOs. You will work with a collaborative regional and national team, benefiting from career development and a flexible hybrid working model.

You'll engage with clients and stakeholders, prepare TA's, Travel Plans and EIA scoping, and support graduates.

Qualifications

• Degree/Masters qualification in analytical subject from accredited institution.
• Membership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant chartered body such as the CIHT or TPS.
• Experience in development planning with strong technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and EIA scoping chapters.
• Work at the forefront of Vision-led planning.
• Provide support to graduates and apprentices.
• Produce high-quality analysis and outputs within timelines and budget.
• Contribute to innovation and growth of AECOM's regional transport market.
• Support bids to win new work and manage deadlines.
