Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Consultant Transport Planner to join our industry-leading Transport Planning team in the UK, delivering a diverse range of studies from strategic planning to business case development. You will be part of a collaborative regional and national portfolio, helping clients solve complex transport challenges while developing your skills within a global firm.

You will work on projects such as statutory assessments, local cycling/walking plans, mobility studies, and public transport

Qualifications

• Experience in transport strategy, planning and/or business case development.
• Excellent technical capabilities: literacy, numeracy, communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of transport strategies, scheme appraisal and/or business case development.
• Provide support to graduates and apprentices.
• Deliver in-person presentations/workshops to local stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality analysis and outputs within time and budget.
• Contribute to innovation and growth of AECOM’s regional transport presence.
• Assist bids to win work with clients.
• Manage time to meet deadlines.
