Job Opportunity: Transport Coordinator

  • Type: Full-Time Permanent
  • Title: Transport Coordinator
  • Hours: Monday to Friday
  • Location: Office-based in Tadley
Main Responsibilities
  1. Planning and scheduling orders using the in-house system and managing inventory with Maximo (IBM).
  2. Managing and utilizing the haulage fleet effectively.
  3. Processing customer orders promptly against forecasted usage, ensuring stock availability.
  4. Serving as a key contact for customers and drivers.
  5. Maintaining the accuracy of our internal database for customer orders.
  6. Planning routes for the company fleet with a focus on cost efficiency.
  7. Monitoring transport progress, advising clients at milestones, and ensuring schedules are met.
  8. Ensuring correct quantities of materials are received by the Goods-In team.
  9. Demonstrating attention to detail with previous order management experience.
  10. Having experience in Logistics, Transport, or Fleet Management.
  11. Possessing good geographical knowledge or scheduling/route planning experience.
  12. Holding a full UK driver's license (essential).
  13. Ability to manage your own time and use initiative effectively.
