A leading company in the transport sector is seeking a Transport Management professional to oversee operations at a local level. The role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with transport legislation, and enhancing customer service. You will support the Transport Manager in implementing operational policies and procedures, while also focusing on health and safety practices. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to performance improvements and team development in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for providing a customer-focused, effective, and efficient Transport Management facility at a local level, ensuring compliance with all current and relevant transport legislation and Safe Systems of Work. You will support the Transport Manager in implementing the Company’s Standard Operational Policies, Procedures, and Practices.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
You will be accountable for supervising the transport and administration team, proactively reviewing working practices and procedures to improve performance in line with KPI targets.
