Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator to support the smooth operation of our commercial fleet across cars and vans. You will handle compliance, administration, supplier management and reporting to ensure standards are met and processes run efficiently.

The role involves coordinating day-to-day fleet activity, maintaining records, and producing monthly performance insights while travelling as required. A strong eye for detail and solid Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet, transport, or vehicle administration.
• Strong organisational skills and high level of attention to detail.
• Good understanding of compliance and legal requirements within a fleet environment.
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
• Proactive approach with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day fleet administration across cars and vans.
• Oversee compliance activities including driver licence checks, MOTs, servicing, and vehicle records.
• Manage fleet penalties, recharge notices, and negligent damage cases.
• Keep fleet systems, records, and employee/vehicle information accurate and up to date.
• Produce monthly fleet reports and performance analysis.
• Work closely with suppliers to monitor service performance, costs and standards.
• Support internal stakeholders with fleet-related queries and guidance.
• Help manage vehicle allocation to ensure availability across the business.
• Coordinate fleet-related invoices and documentation with internal departments.
• Support continuous improvement across transport and fleet operations.

As our Transport Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our fleet across cars and vans. From compliance and administration to supplier management and reporting, you’ll help ensure everything runs effectively and in line with company standards.
