Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with DHL, an award-winning leader in the supply chain business? We're looking for a Transport Administration Assistant who will play a vital role in keeping our wheels turning and our operations running smoothly at Argos, Exeter!

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Driver Engagement: Coordinate driver sign-offs and manage defect reporting to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Report Generation: Assist in generating reports on transport performance metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Driver Debriefing: Conduct debriefing sessions with drivers after their runs to review performance, address issues, and gather feedback.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the transport team and the Argos helpdesk, reporting on delivery failures, late arrivals, and other operational matters.
  • Support Operations: Collaborate with the transport management team to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
