The Cove School is seeking a Transition Job Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves working with students 1:1 and in small groups at the Cove Career Center and in community settings, modeling tasks, and providing feedback to promote employability.

Qualifications

• Supports students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Modeling work tasks and providing feedback.
• Coordinate weekly meetings and collect progress data.

Responsibilities

• Meet with student workers to review job descriptions and set goals.
• Review work expectations, attire, sign-in/out, and breaks with students.
• Discuss and practice appropriate social interactions with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Help students ask for more tasks and provide constructive feedback.
• Work alongside students at sites, gradually fading support.
• Schedule weekly progress reviews with supervisors and document progress.
• Coordinate exit interviews to summarize overall employability.
