Aufgaben

• Deliver direct instructional and intervention support as outlined in students' IEPs under the guidance of the teacher or service provider.
• Provide small group and one-on-one academic support, reinforcing learning while the teacher or service provider works with other students.
• Adapt instructional materials and methods as needed to meet diverse student needs.
• Assist with student assessments, including supporting students who require accommodations or alternative testing methods.
• Collect data and maintain accurate records on student progress toward IEP goals, behavioral interventions, and academic performance, as directed by the teacher or service provider.
• Foster a positive and trauma-informed inclusive learning environment in all school settings.
• Implement positive behavior supports and classroom management strategies consistent with the teacher/service provider's approach.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student success.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and sensitive information.
• Contribute to the Cove community by participating in school events and supporting a culture of inclusivity.
• Supervise students during classes such as gym, music, library, and art, ensuring engagement and safety while facilitating assigned activities.
• Supervise and support students during recess and lunch by promoting positive social interactions, ensuring safety, and reinforcing behavioral expectations.
• Assist in conflict resolution, and provide movement and sensory breaks as needed to support student regulation and engagement.
