Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for a Programme Manager to join our Emerging Tech team based in Coventry.
As a Programme Manager, you will lead the full end-to-end delivery of multiple Emerging Technology projects, from strategy and inception through to Go-Live, working with internal teams across our capital and commercial services business, wider Severn Trent, and external partners.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a Programme Manager, you will work alongside colleagues in Capital Design, Delivery, Commercial, and Chief Engineer teams, engaging key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of key emerging technology projects.
You will identify opportunities to transform our approach to Capital Design and Delivery using technology, managing the end-to-end delivery of transformational change programmes, and proactively managing risks that could impact successful delivery.
We want someone who can be an innovative leader, thinking differently, challenging norms, and applying forward-thinking beyond traditional programme management.
You will participate in communities of practice and external/internal groups to drive improvements, making quick, confident decisions where speed is critical to success.
To succeed, you should demonstrate strong influencing skills, commercial drive, quick and clear thinking, and personal maturity.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
While technical experience is important, we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude equally.
You should have experience delivering innovative technology solutions, ideally in a startup or disruptive environment, with sector experience in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, power, or utilities.
Relevant STEM or business qualifications, Prince2 or APM accreditation, and proven experience in delivering transformation projects in complex environments are desirable. Strong planning and implementation skills focused on outcomes are essential.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders in dynamic, fast-paced environments, along with excellent communication and leadership skills, is highly valued.
