Job Description:
PURPOSE: The Transformation Lead will play a key role in providing transformation expertise for our highest value projects within different entities and regions. The role involves leading and supporting transformations focusing on operating model and organizational design.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and support transformation projects in line with Business strategy: Collaborate with Business and Transformation Leads to develop a transformation strategy, build a decision-driven critical path, and ensure value is captured timely. Maintain visibility of issues, risks, and mitigations. Provide expert advice on transformation capabilities, especially in operating model and org design, sharing best practices and insights.
- Lead development of operating model, review organizational effectiveness, and lead on organization design: Support initiatives aligning structure, people, and processes with business strategy. Lead organization design efforts, including structure analysis, role clarity, and decision-making frameworks. Assess organizational functionality.
- Build transformation capability within bp: Continue capability building for Business and P&C communities. Develop playbooks and tools to support teams.
- Key relationships: Engage with internal senior leaders (business, transformation, P&C) to support delivery. Collaborate with external partners for best practices and insights.
Formal Education:
- Higher degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
Skills:
- Strong understanding of transformation capabilities and scenarios (efficiency, offshoring, outsourcing, growth), including strategy, delivery, operating models, and change management.
- Experience in developing operating models, reviewing organizational effectiveness, and leading organizational design.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident interaction with senior leaders and employees.
- Ownership and results delivery in challenging environments.
- Stakeholder influence, consultancy skills, and relationship building across the organization.
