The role sits at the intersection of Front Office, Risk, and Technology, translating strategy into execution and driving end-to-end delivery across Sales & Trading, Risk, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale transformation program unifying fragmented legal entities, platforms, and operating models across Capital Markets.
• Align Sales, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Finance and Operations around unified product structures and governance.
• Define and execute target operating model across asset classes; plan architecture strategy and roadmaps; rationalize legacy platforms.
• Partner with Product Control, Risk, and external vendors to ensure regulatory alignment (Basel III, CRD IV, FRTB) and P&L attribution.

Our client is seeking a senior consultant with 14+ years of experience to lead and deliver a large-scale transformation program to unify fragmented legal entities, platforms, and operating models into streamlined product-aligned business lines across the Capital Markets franchise.

• This role sits at the intersection of Front Office, Risk, and Technology, acting as a translator, architect, and execution leader to drive strategic changes across Sales & Trading
• Own end-to-end delivery of a multi-year Markets transformation program
• Align Sales, Trading, Structuring, Risk, Finance, and Operations around unified product structures
• Drive consistency in - Trade lifecycle workflows, Booking models & legal entity structures, P&L attribution and risk reporting, Partner with Product Control and Risk to ensure regulatory alignment (FRTB, P&L attribution, IPV)
• Act as a liaison between business, technology, and external vendors
• Establish and execute target operating model (TOM) across asset classes (Rates, FX, Credit, Equities, Commodities)
• Define and steer Markets architecture strategy (platform consolidation, data models, integration layers), Rationalize legacy platforms (e.g., multiple booking systems across entities)
• Work closely with Engineering leads across FO, Risk & Data in the bank
• Drive adoption across regions and entities with strong stakeholder governance
• Plan technology strategy roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables
• Deliver against cost, timeline, and regulatory milestones
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies for the migration process
• Undergraduate/Post graduate degree, preferably in finance/technology. FRM desirable.
• 12+ years of business experience
• Deep experience in Capital Markets (Sales & Trading) across one or more asset classes (Rates, FX, Credit, Equities), Trade lifecycle (front-to-back), Booking models and legal entity structures, Risk, P&L, and valuation frameworks
• Understanding of Market technology stack – FO platforms, Risk engines, data architecture through front to back processes in global markets
• Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in Tier 1 / Tier 2 banks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements like Basel III, CRD IV, and FRTB
• Clear communication skills able to ‘speak trader, risk, and tech
