Job summary

Smiths Detection is seeking a Transformation Office Analyst to play a central role in tracking progress, driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making across a global transformation programme. You’ll turn complex operational and project data into actionable intelligence, partnering with senior leaders and giving stakeholders access to accurate, meaningful information every day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience in transformation, consulting, PMO, business intelligence, or another data-driven environment.
• Strong Excel, data modelling and dashboard skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently.
• Experience working in transformation, consulting, PMO, business intelligence, or another data-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and identify issues within large datasets.
• A proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Power BI, Shibumi, portfolio management tools, automation solutions, or AI-enabled reporting is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain transformation programme data as the organisation's single source of truth.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across initiatives.
• Consolidate information from projects, functions, and workstreams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools.
• Create executive reporting, governance packs, and performance updates.
• Translate programme data into clear, actionable insights.
• Analyse trends, risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Monitor milestones, delivery performance, and benefit realisation.
• Support governance processes across the transformation portfolio.
• Maintain status reports, decision logs, and escalation records.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting processes.
