Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust seeks an Improvement Manager to provide expert advice and support across Care Groups and Corporate teams. You will drive productivity and efficiency programmes and deputise for the Head of PMO.

You will identify opportunities through benchmarking, financial analysis and liaison with operational teams, delivering cost-effective service improvements aligned with national programmes.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
• Postgraduate diploma or masters-level training in project management or equivalent.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation and service redesign.
• Experience working across boundaries with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver projects within timescales and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop efficiency improvement projects within allocated portfolio.
• Work with Finance and operational teams to implement changes.
• Analyse complex data to identify opportunities for operational change.
• Support productivity and national programmes such as GIRFT and Model Hospital.
