Job summary

CMPC is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead the Efficiency at Scale Programme across Cheshire and Merseyside. You will shape and deliver a complex portfolio of transformation initiatives with senior NHS leaders, driving productivity gains and long-term financial sustainability.

You will operate at board level, oversee procurement, contract optimisation and benefits realisation, and build lasting partnerships across organisations to improve patient services and value for money.

Qualifications

• Degree in Management or equivalent.
• Masters level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience.
• Professional financial or procurement qualification (MCIPS, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Significant evidence of continued professional development towards Board level in a specialist area.
• Extensive experience delivering quality services within a complex acute setting.
• Demonstrable track record of successful change management and leading large-scale programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the development and delivery of a complex portfolio of efficiency and transformation initiatives.
• Lead programmes spanning productivity improvement, procurement, commercial strategy and contract optimisation.
• Collaborate with Chief Executives, CFOs and executives to identify and deliver opportunities that improve productivity and value for money.
• Ensure opportunities translate into measurable and sustainable outcomes across multiple organisations.
