Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Transformation Delivery Lead to drive strategic transformation initiatives across the organisation. You will lead projects and workstreams, partnering with stakeholders to improve operational performance and customer outcomes while embedding new ways of working.

The role requires experience delivering projects in complex environments, strong project management expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with effective stakeholder engagement.

• Managing project governance, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Working with business leaders and teams to support change adoption and embed sustainable improvements.
• Building strong relationships across operational, functional and technical teams to drive successful delivery.
• Championing continuous improvement, innovation and transformation best practice.

We're looking for a Transformation Delivery Lead to support the successful delivery of strategic transformation initiatives across Southern Water. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll lead projects and workstreams that improve operational performance, customer outcomes and organisational capability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful change, embedding new ways of working and driving lasting business improvements. What you will be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of transformation projects and workstreams, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets and benefits are achieved.

• Hybrid working in line with business requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and working in complex environments would be advantageous. Experience delivering projects, business change initiatives or transformation programmes within a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing stakeholders across multiple functions and organisational levels.
• Ability to analyse information, identify solutions and manage competing priorities.
• Experience monitoring project performance, risks, budgets and benefits.
• Strong communication, influencing, facilitation and relationship-building skills.

Desirable

• Experience within utilities, infrastructure, engineering, operational or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of organisational change, process improvement and operating model transformation.
• PRINCE2, APM, Agile or equivalent project management qualification.
• Experience supporting change management and benefits realisation activities.
