Job summary

Orona is seeking a Trainee Lift Engineer to join the Installation team in Belfast. This role involves working under experienced Lift Engineers for 24 months, aiming to become a qualified NVQ level 3 Engineer in installation over a potential span of 3 years.

Applicants should possess 5 GCSE grades A-C including Maths, English, and Science, and ideally have Level 2 qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The position offers internal and external training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to follow instructions and ensure safety guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities

Job description

The trainee scheme is likely to take up to 3 years to complete to become a fully qualified NVQ level 3 Engineer in installation.

Qualifications

• Hold 5 GCSE grades A-C including Maths, English and Science.
• Ideally possess one of the following: Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations or BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering.
• Able to follow instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all time.
• Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills.
• You will spend 24-36 months as a Lift Engineer Mate/trainee working with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer.
