Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a Transfer Operator in Rochester. This hands-on role moves processed materials between silos, packing lines and the warehouse to keep production flowing.

You will work with production, packing and warehouse teams, perform daily forklift checks and ensure safe, organised operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a valid 1.5 tonne Counterbalance Forklift Licence, experience in manufacturing, and a practical, reliable approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Valid 1.5 tonne Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Ability to follow instructions and use initiative.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer raw materials from silos to the correct packing lines.
• Move finished goods from production to the warehouse.
• Operate forklift safely and perform daily checks.
• Label, record and track pallet movements.
• Support stocktakes and stock checks as required.
• Maintain health, safety and housekeeping standards.
