Job summary

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our busy production team in Stone. You will operate a counterbalance forklift to move goods and support standard warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate has a valid Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR), can work a rotating shift pattern (early and late, Monday to Friday), and has prior warehouse experience with a solid focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
• Able to work on a rotating shift pattern—early then lates—Monday to Friday.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Good attention to detail and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck (valid licence required).
• Load and unload products from machinary.
• Move stock to designated storage locations.
• Assist with packing, and wrapping orders.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards.
• Support other team members as needed.
