Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional in London to reconcile and process high-volume transfer fee transactions for Global Capital Markets clients. You will investigate discrepancies, support P&L analyses, and maintain robust audit trails within a largely manual processing environment.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical abilities, and experience with spreadsheet software to manage multiple systems and ensure timely, compliant processing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and process a high volume of large transfer fee transactions for GCM clients daily.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and unmatched items.
• Process fee returns, adjustments and corrections; support profit and loss analysis.
• Maintain accurate records across multiple internal systems.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and chase unpaid amounts.
• Produce monthly reporting relating to transfer fee activity and profitability.
• Escalate issues or risks; identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation; adhere to risk and regulatory standards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
