Job summary

Expeditors is recruiting for a Transcon Operations role in the UK. You will ensure timely freight movement, accurate data entry, and effective communication with customers and suppliers to meet service standards.

Responsibilities include tracking and tracing shipments, billing accuracy, and maintaining compliance with policies and regulations in a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information within the Transcon Department.
• Enter data accurately into the operational system and maintain records.
• Track and trace Transcon files and generate reports.
• Handle client and vendor billing accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with customers and suppliers to meet service standards.
• Promote compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Transcon Department

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times?
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
• Escalation of problems to Management when necessary
• Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Qualifications

Skills:

• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Fluent in English
