Position: Transactional Finance Manager

Eaton Syalon Ltd is partnering with a Derby-based business to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager. This leadership role within the finance team is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in managing transactional finance teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bank postings across the group
• Manage bank reconciliation processes for all group companies
• Lead cash flow forecasting for the group
• Manage payment and fund transfer processes
• Handle bank account administration (openings, closures, mandates, maintenance)
• Supervise expense processing and credit card transactions
• Manage relationships with merchant credit card processors
• Ensure internal controls are embedded in treasury processes
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in treasury functions
• Produce KPI and dashboard reports for performance monitoring
• Manage daily cash operations, including cash pooling, overdraft monitoring, loan drawdowns, and deposits
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models, analyze variances
• Assist with bank relationship management and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with business units to optimize cash conversion
• Support team management activities: hiring, training, development
• Streamline core systems for efficiency

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in transactional financial management roles
• Proficiency in month-end close, bank and balance sheet reconciliation
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
