Job summary

Carwow Ltd. is seeking a Transactional Financial Controller in London to own AP, Billing, and Credit control functions, with oversight of banking, working capital, and system improvements.

The role combines hands-on leadership with driving automation across finance systems in a hybrid setup. You will line-manage teams in London and Porto, collaborate with the Finance Transformation team, and partner with stakeholders across Finance, Technology and business units to enable scalable and compliant

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong financial controls and reporting.
• Experience managing a finance team and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to lead system implementations and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, Billing and Credit control functions with team leadership.
• Oversee banking and expenses transactions, ensure controls and timeliness.
• Own working capital management and payment runs.
• Lead end-to-end PO system implementation and compliance.
• Escalate and resolve AP, Billing and Credit control queries.
• Drive DSO performance improvements and cash collection targets.
• Review AR ledgers and escalate aged debt per policy.
• Line-manage reports in London and Porto; oversee UK/Portugal/Germany/Spain activity.
• Partner with Director of Financial Control on reporting and governance.
