Job summary

Carwow seeks a Transactional Financial Controller in London to own AP, Billing, and Credit Control, while leading system automation across finance platforms. You will manage a team in London and Porto, drive cash collection, and oversee working capital with a focus on scalable processes.

Hybrid role with Finance transformation involvement, reporting to the Director of Financial Control. You’ll partner across Finance and Technology to ensure accurate revenue recognition and governance.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with strong financial controls and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounts Payable, Billing and Credit Control functions with team leadership.
• Oversee banking and expense transactions with proper controls.
• Own working capital management including payment runs.
• Implement and manage end‑to‑end PO system with stakeholders.
• Escalation point for AP, Billing and Credit control queries.
• Drive DSO performance and cash collection targets.
