An opportunity exists for a Training Specialist within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA). The Training Specialist provides initial and ongoing coaching and feedback, offers guidance on training-related matters, reinforces the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) methodology and instructor fundamentals, and ensures our training material and instructors utilize the best possible training methods while reinforcing Human Performance and Nuclear Safety Culture traits.
You will be passionate about making our training the best it can be, with a positive, can-do attitude and a pragmatic approach to overcoming challenges. You will have demonstrable experience in developing and delivering innovative training and support our Instructor Excellence programme.
This role is based at either Gloucester Business Park or Hinkley Point C, working on a hybrid model with 2-3 days a week on-site.

Your key responsibilities will include:
You will have at least an HNC qualification with experience in adult education theory and practice. A degree in a relevant subject is advantageous, as well as a desire to develop your skills further.
You will have experience deploying effective training methodologies (such as SAT). A strong understanding of quality assurance in a high-quality environment is essential, along with knowledge of training governance and oversight.
You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise on best practices and procedures. Building close relationships with key stakeholders to maintain the integrity of the Nuclear Skills Alliance is important.
You will be highly organized, capable of multitasking and managing priorities independently, with the ability to influence without authority, and demonstrate initiative. An understanding of continuous improvement and adaptability is also required.
