An opportunity exists for a Training Specialist within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA). The Training Specialist provides coaching, feedback, and guidance on training matters, reinforcing the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) methodology and instructor fundamentals. They ensure training materials and instructors utilize effective training methods while reinforcing Human Performance and Nuclear Safety Culture traits.
You will be passionate about enhancing our training quality, with a positive attitude and pragmatic approach to challenges. Experience in developing and delivering innovative training and supporting our Instructor Excellence programme is essential.
This role is based at Gloucester Business Park or Hinkley Point C, with a hybrid working model of 2-3 days on-site.
Salary ranges from £45,641 to £81,263, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme and flexible benefits such as parental leave, electric vehicle leasing, health insurance, product discounts, critical illness insurance, technology vouchers, gym membership, and season ticket loans.

You should have at least a HNC qualification with experience in adult education theory and practice. A relevant degree is advantageous. You must have experience with effective training methodologies, particularly the Systematic Approach to Training, and a strong understanding of quality and governance in training environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. You should be highly organized, capable of multitasking, working independently, and influencing without authority. A commitment to continuous improvement and flexibility is also important.
